Note: If the output reverse connection is inverse on the battery end, that will cause a short-circuit and will destroy the chip. The ammeter can only be series connected to the 5V input end. Charging current better to be 0.37 times of the battery capacity. Charging wires can’t be too thin or too long. Always make sure that the board is properly connected to the battery. The chip can work around 60 degrees without any problems.
